Book 4: First impressions
I haven't yet started this month's selection, and am getting a little worried that I may not finish it before the next book is announced. But for those of you who are already underway, what do you think? Is it good? Do you like the characters? How about the writing, is it engaging?
Tell me what you think so far. I can't wait to get started.
Also, if you have any questions that you'd like to pose to the whole group, please send me an email (or leave comment here and I'll contact you) and I'll add it to the site. Don't be shy, there aren't any dumb questions. But if you do send a dumb question, I'll just pretend I never received it.

I'm on about page 200 and it is very good. I find myself thinking about certain scenes from the book during the day, which is always a good sign of engagement.
I'm also a sucker for a book that spans several generations, and this book does that. There is also a lot of foreshadowing that pulls you in and keeps you wondering about what will come next.

I just started the book last night, and I really like it.
One question: Why does the main character call his/her brother Chapter Eleven? Did I miss something big already?

I'm about halfway through and I still haven't figured out the Chapter 11 reference.
