This month's selection was chosen by my friend Brenda.  This book features stories about moms and their children who turned out fine because of them (or despite them, depending).  Please join Brenda and me in reading The Kid Turned Out Fine: Confessions of Good Mothers.



Many of us in the book club are mothers and will probably relate to many of the stories and topics in this book.  The obvious exception here is my own mother - I'm sure she will have a hard time relating to this book because I was (and continue to be) such an angel. 

For those of you who are not yet mothers, perhaps this will serve as effective birth control.  If that doesn't work, feel free to come to my house for dinner.  That should do it.

This tirade leads me right into the wine pairing - Momma Vino Chardonnay.  It looks like one of those small vineyard, hard to fine wines... of course any ol' wine will work as a substitute.
