Book 5: Questions from your hostess
I received some excellent questions from my friend Brenda who made this month's book club selection. Feel free to answer any or all of the questions...
Do you have a favorite story from the collection? Why?
Which story reminds you the most of your own loving mother?
Which story made you say "Wow, I'm SOOO glad that wasn't my Mom"?
And for you Moms out there,
Which story reminds you the most of a screw up you yourself have made?
Which story gave you a good idea how to handle your own children?

OK, I guess I need to get the ball rolling.
I'm not quite finished with this month's book yet, OK I'm only about 1/3rd of the way done. Maybe last month's book took a lot out of most of us. I know I didn't finish it before the end of the month.
Anyway, I am SOOOOO glad my Mom never brought us to school in our PJ's. I thought that story was great! My similar experience to that story is that the bus stop was at our house and every once in a while Mom would come out in her bathrobe with something you forgot on the counter. This always gave us great incentive to get ALL of our stuff ready before we went out the door.
The stories about getting little kids to go to bed reminds me of my own daughter. It was very tough for a few months. Looking back now, I can hardly tell some of the stories without getting tears from laughing.
I haven't found a story that I would use on my own kids yet. But, I have 2/3'rds to go.

I don't want anyone to think that I didn't read this month's book because Jennie and I are both in this book club! I just didn't get to it, but have it on my list because it sounds like it would be fun to read.
