Recommended Reading: March 2007

I keep a stack of books on my dresser that I plan to read.  Sometimes the pile is very high and sometimes it's whittled down to those two or three books that I never seem to get around to reading.  This month, I haven't done a whole lot of reading, but I did do some book buying based on the books that you've told me to check out in the "Recommended Reading" entries.  My stack is running low and I'm almost down to "The Dog Who Wouldn't Be" by Farley Mowat (which my dad swears was really good).  So, keep the suggestions coming!

Please include the title, author's name, and a brief description of the book, your thoughts and comments.

I just finished "Bandit Queen Boogie" by Sparkle Hayter. How can you go wrong with an author with a name like that? It's about 2 young women who decide, over tequila shots at the campus bar, to spend the summer after graduation backpacking in Europe. Just a fun, light read...if you are in need of such a thing!
