The Trifecta, July 2007: Jane
The Profile:
Name: Jane Mitchell
Info: I am a retired teacher of elementary school children and I live most of the time in Cold Spring, MN. My husband Pat and I also have a vacation home in Marble Falls, TX, and we share the duties at our nature reserve (farm) in Padua, MN. Our children are both grown (Jennie and Ryan) and married (to Marty and Carrie, respectively) and we have 2 grandchildren (Martin and Sophie... and little Baby Mitchell on the way, bringing the number up to three). My #1 hobby is READING, but I also love to travel, and luckily those two go together quite well! We are working on "adventures" in our retirement. Some in the last year include canoing and camping in the Boundary Waters, hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, riding Segways in Minneapolis, touring Tuscany with women friends, and going to a BECOMING AN OUTDOOR WOMAN weekend in Arizona.
Life is good....I am so lucky!!!

Here I am with my collection of "The Little Prince" books. I was first introduced to this book in my high school French class over 40 years ago. I have always loved the story and the illustrations, but had no idea that it was published in so many languages. I started collecting as I started traveling and others have provided me with copies from around the world as well. I think I have it in around 15 different languages.
